Don’t find time to do-it-yourself? Why not call the pros of BTM Floorworx who can get the job done quickly and efficiently? Specialised in commercial flooring in Melbourne, we can even help our customers with water damage carpet repairs and restoration.
How Do We Do It?
We use a vacuum extraction system to remove as much water as possible. Once the excess water has been sucked out of your carpet, we use a dehumidifier to dry out the room. Removing moisture restricts the growth of mould and mildew. We also recommend using fans as they can accelerate the carpet drying process.
If your carpets have been quenched with sewage or contaminated flood water, we recommend steam cleaning your carpets. This will help you get rid of dirt, soil, grime and allergens that got embedded into the fibres. Anything doused by flood should be sanitised and deodorised, so our professionals will get your carpets sanitised and deodorised before returning them to you. With the right knowledge, training and equipment, we can even give the most damaged carpet a comprehensive clean.
